Welcome to Sugar Grove Baptist Church, a faith filled community tucked away in the picturesque hills of Butler, Tennessee. Founded in 1852 we are a church that has long been a spiritual home for Watauga Lake residents who find deep community and fulfillment within our church family.
Our Ministries
- Second Sunday Dinners: A Monthly Feast for the Soul. Come join us every second Sunday of the month for a home-cooked meal that feeds both body and spirit. It's more than just food; it's a gathering place for community members to connect, share stories, and experience the warmth of fellowship.
- Home Missions and Foreign Missions: Our global reach extends to critical missionary work overseas and nationally, taking the message of salvation to every corner of the earth.
- Baptist Children's Home: A cornerstone of our church, we provide not just monetary support, but a community of care and hope.
